personal submarine yacht interior design

The hulls of our submarine yachts are designed to facilitate any possible interior design. The submarine comes ballasted with a flat barren floor and a basic engine room division. Inside the hull there are no stiffeners, bulkheads etc...

Other than you might think in first place the interior of the submarine yacht is not a dark humid space. Our submarine yachts are "dry bilge yachts" free of condensation seeping and leaking problems.

Have a look at the inside of the prototype submarine built 1996 although the woodwork is quite basic - the idea was a proof of concept commodity not luxury - you can clearly see that the inside walls are completely dry. This is due to the fact that the hull is almost completely under water line - therefore there are no temperature differences where condensation could take place.

For interior design the concrete walls can be drilled and be provided with steel anchors in the same way as the walls of a concrete building can be handled. Wood, panels, drywall, any interior design is possible. The weight of the interior can easily be compensated by taking out some of the sand ballast from the under floor ballast compartments shown in the drawing below.

This makes outfitting of the concrete submarine yacht hulls a very simple task. It would be a very fine business for professional yacht outfitters to purchase that kind of hulls and sell them off later as turn key submarine luxury yachts.

The bottom ballast compartments can be adapted as tanks, storage space etc... with little more than a layer of paint and a access opening.
